I'm Sorry...

First, I would like to apologize for not writing sooner. I'm a really busy guy, but I like this blog and I don't like not having any time to talk to you guys.  But! I'm no different than anyone else, and I just do the best I can. So anyways... I didn't really know what to blog about, but I just though of something just now.  I have a friend who is really close to me, and the crazy thing is, we don't really know how we got together in the first place!  I mean, we know the circumstances and happenings that went on.  But how?  Well, I think we both know that God stepped in and made it all happen.  And It is purely amazing how he took two imperfect guys and brought us together in this wonderful friendship where we both help each other through hard times, and joke around in good times.  And both of us always striving to walk closer to our Lord, Jesus Christ, and drag the other one along.  But what I'm trying to get at is that God works in ALL of our lives.  I know lots of people, saved and lost, and I have heard there stories and I see that ALL of them have been touched by God.  Whether they know or accept that as the truth is between them and God.  I know people that have bulimia, that are suicidal or attempted suicide, that are cutters, drugies, homosexuals, anorexic, the list goes on... But EVERY ONE OF THEM HAS BEEN TOUCHED BY GOD!  Now isn't that something?  All Of those people would be looked down upon, ridiculed, made fun of, persecuted.  Now if you were God, wouldn't look look at those "messed up" people and not care?  Maybe even punish them?  But No!  Our God is forgiving!  He doesn't abandon those people!  He stands next to them and screams "I'm here!  Let me help!  I love you!"  And he's doing that now, and will continue to do that until he comes back.  Now, I know all of you has been through pain, trials, and hardship.  But will you acknowledge God?  Will you turn around and let him in?  I know how it feels to let him in.  For a long time I would ignore and sometimes push God away, and it might hurt a little to stop doing that.  You might be scared, you might be made fun of and persecuted.  Maybe not accepted in some groups that you want, I'm not going to lie to you.  But please believe me when my friend and I say that IT IS WORTH IT!  Now, you will not be perfect, or "bulletproof", I guarentee.  But you will start to feel what it means to truely "walk with the Lord".  And you know what is undoubtedly the most wonderful thing in this life?  A relationship with Christ.  He is calling, will you answer?

Now, on a less serious note...

Airsoft!  Anyone know what I'm talking about?  I know somebody just broke out in a grin!  Airsoft is probably the best sport in the WORLD.  (Now I'm not gonna get into the whole "paintball vs. airsoft" argument.  There both fun, but I prefer airsoft.)  I own a M4 airsoft assault rifle that has 380 fps and uses .12g pellets.  (I know it's weak!  I'm a newb ok?)  But I use the bio pellets so I can mow and not have a million little pellets spray all over my yard.  (The pellets always seem to make it into my yard instead of the woods!)  But I've just started playing and if anyone wanted to post tips or tricks for games then that would be sick.  (Please, no hateful comments about my equipment/newbiness.  I get enough of that from my friends.  Then I shoot them and they shut up! :P)  But lately I've noticed how most players in this day and age don't really care, or pay much attention to safety.  Both to property and others.  Here is some stuff I've noticed:  Wear the stupid goggles/masks during the WHOLE game/match.  (Yes, I know they make you look stupid.  But looking cool isn't worth being kicked out of a game, or loosing a eye).  Don't reuse ammo.  (Tearing up your 500$ gun isn't worth saving 15$ on another box of ammo and possibly hurting another player).  Obey all the rules of the game.  (Cheaters are SO annoying, and you could hurt yourself!).  And finally, when traveling/transporting a gun, don't pretend it's real.  Getting arrested and scaring the crud out of people is NOT fun!  Anyway, just a little reminder to play it safe!

Listen! This is the BEST news you will ever hear!

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a good day and that you are right with the Lord and your neighbor.  I just wanted to start out this blog with a message of hope.  If you are reading this and you don't know or are unsure about what it means to have it "right with the Lord" then I hope that by reading this, you can find some answers.  In this day and age, in America, it is easy to find a Bible and go to church.  So therefore, you have no excuse, if you are saved, to not be right with God.  You can go ahead and argue with me but you are the only thing that is holding you back.  However, if you are NOT saved (which means to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ), then maybe you should keep reading, you might just find what you are looking for.  I want you to know that some stuff I put on this blog may not be what you want to hear, but what you need to hear.  If you have a Bible, please flip over to Romans 1:28-32.  (Romans is a book in the Bible found in the New Testament, near the back of the Bible.  Don't worry if you have trouble finding it, just keep searching.  It's right after Acts and before 1Corinthians.)  It's talking about mankind, and how we ALL are sinners and, verse 32: "They know Gods decree that those who practice such things deserve to die"-
Now please turn to Mark 15:33-39.  (Again, just before Luke and after Mathew in the New Testament).  It's talking about how Jesus, Gods only son, died for you and me!  God sent his son down from heaven to die for the sins we committed!  And later, in chapter 19 verse 5-6, he's raised from the dead!  Jesus was sinless, therefore, death could not hold him because he didn't deserve to die!  Then, in verse 19, he is taken back up to heaven.  So therefore, he is still living!  And he's promised to come back to take all those who believe with him!  Isn't that a wonderful promise?  Do you want to believe?  Then just say this prayer with me, not just in your mind, but in your heart.  "Lord, I know I'm a sinner.  I see now that you sent your only son to die for me.  I accept your gift to mankind.  Jesus please come into my heart.  Help me to walk with you, give me strength when I fall.  I know that I'm going to mess up, but help me back up again.  I long to serve you, and live for you, and obey your commandments.  Thank you so much for you wonderful forgiveness Lord. Amen."  Now, if you have doubts about your salvation, talk to a pastor or missionary of a church near you, or a Godly friend.  Some of the blogs I follow might be of help also.  But that's not all!  Look in verse 15, and 20.  Jesus is saying, before he goes into heaven, to go and spread the good news throughout the world!  Tell everyone you know about Gods gift to us and about his mercy and grace!  God also commands that you talk with him (pray) and stay in the word every day!  Go to a Christian store (Lifeway) or even go on the internet (Ebay, Amazon) and buy a devotional book and a NKJV Bible. (very cheep, usually around 20$).  And now, go out and follow the Lord! :)
